Hello World! My screen name is Secret Reader, but please feel free to call me Hitomi-Chan. ^_^ I was tempted to say "senpai" but I'm not exactly qualified for that title. -.-
Anywho, you're probably curious as to what I'm planning on blogging about! (If you couldn't decipher it from the title, ha ha!) I'm here to write about the anime of the world! Everything from up and coming titles to old classics that still haven't left our hearts. ^_^ Whether you're a black belt in anime or are just starting out as a white belt, I will try my hardest to make everything I say understandable for all levels! And, armed with my sarcasm and insatiable need to read, I think that this blog just might manage to be succesful!
You see, I tried to blog once before... It sucked. It really did. But, I found out what mistake I made! (Actually, most of it had to do with laziness...^_^)
The mistake I made was that I spoke about myself. I used it as a diary! Blah! Who wants to read about my boring life? No one! That's where I went wrong. I thought that my life was enough to captivate people. I then had an epiphany as to just how meaningless everything I was writing about actually was.
Actually, that's the problem with most blogs. They are booooring because people use it as a personal diary for other people to read. (Which, doesn't make sense, because the point of a diary is so no one ever reads it.) So, I thought of all the succesful blogs out there. None of them are about the blogger! It's usually about something else, like Perez Hiltons blog about celbrities or Lourdes (whatever the hell her last name is) blogs about fashion. I am not interested in fashion and I don't have any connections to tell me anything interesting about celebrities so I thought to myself, "Hmmm... Hitomi... What do you like and know lots about?" Anime was the answer!
I went on for about three paragraphs on why blogs usually fail... Wow...
Anyways, the point of this post was to say "Konichiwa!" and introduce myself. I did a bit more than that... Oops. ;)
